Combat Survival Tactics provides practical, real-world self-defence training that prepares you to handle actual threats. Our methods are straightforward and effective, ensuring you can protect yourself and your loved ones in any situation.
Our CST program is inclusive, welcoming individuals of all fitness levels and genders. Everyone trains together, creating a supportive and empowering environment for all participants. We also have a Ladies only CST program.
CST integrates techniques from Krav Maga, military combatives, and other martial arts into a cohesive system. This comprehensive approach ensures you are prepared for various threats and can adapt to different situations.

With over 25 years of experience in self-protection and martial arts, our Head Coach is a leading expert in Combat Survival Tactics. His leadership and innovative training methods make each lesson impactful and insightful.
Our Head Coach holds a 5th Degree Black Sash in Wing Chun, is a certified Krav Maga instructor, and a skilled Thai Boxing and Boxing Coach.
He also possesses multiple self-defence and weapon defence instructorships. With Level 2/3 relevant qualifications and a PTLLS teaching qualification, he is recognised as a certified self-defence expert who excels in both practice and teaching.
Continuously evolving, he has earned a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and trains in Kali, He also trains in European martial arts and belongs to a Anglo Saxon re-enactment group, demonstrating his commitment to diverse martial arts disciplines.
With a rich background spanning decades, our Head Coach brings a wealth of martial arts experience, ensuring a dynamic and comprehensive approach to training.

Flexibility is key in our memberships, offering a 3 month Kickstart option alongside plans that cater to long-term goals, allowing you to choose what best suits your journey.
How will I be engaging with other members, will I be fighting them?
Rest assured, initial stages focus on learning and growth without sparring. As you gain confidence and skill, you'll have opportunities for controlled sparring and pressure tests, always under professional guidance, fostering a safe and supportive environment. These opportunities are optional, you do not have to engage in anything you are not comfortable with.
